PRiSM technical staff together with PRiSM regional facilitators, headed by Dr. Eduardo Jimmy P. Quilang, PRiSM Project Lead, and Mr. Jovino L. de Dios, PRiSM Unit Head convened to discuss the development, improvement, harmonization of protocols/methods for the detection and mapping of rice areas converted to other land cover using integrated remote sensing and geographical information techniques. Updating and strengthening of PRiSM field protocols for more effective rice monitoring in the country were also accomplished during the five-day workshop. The activity was conducted on March 27 to 31, 2023 at the Philippine Rice Research Institute Central Experiment Station, CBC training room.
