The Philippine Rice Information System (PRiSM) Unit, operated in Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) requires its data users to follow the Terms and Conditions as stated below:
- The requestor will use the Data and Information Product only in furtherance of the Project and as stated in the request.
- The requestor shall protect the PRiSM Data and Information Product.
- The requestor shall not modify any of the Data Product.
- The data and information product requested should be used strictly for research and development, for instruction and education, for emergency purposes, and as reference materials as stated in the request.
- Upon receipt of the data, the requestor shall rightfully recognize PRiSM as the source of the data and information.
- The requestor is not authorize to share to any person or party the data obtained from PRiSM. Rules on plagiarism will be applied.
- The requestor shall not commercialize any data or material from PRiSM.
- The requestor shall be required to report the activities and processes on how the data and information was utilized, the outputs generated from these data and information, the users of the data and information and other related concerns. A link for the online form where the requestor could send his update will be sent thru email.
- The user shall notify PRiSM of any errors or deficiencies detected in the data. PRiSM bear no responsibility for any results or interpretations arising from the reuse of the data.
- The requestor is required to evaluate the services of PRiSM before receiving the requested data and information through Form No. 4 - ASD-PRiSM Services Feedback Form.
- The requestor shall evaluate the usability of the PRiSM Data Products after receiving it by filling up Form No. 5 - ASD-PRiSM Data Product Feedback Form sent thru email.
- PRiSM reserves the right to discontinue the granted access of the data and information if the requestor, in any way or means, failed to conform to the abovementioned terms and conditions.
- PRiSM reserves the right to deny any data and information requests from the requestor who failed to conform to the abovementioned terms and conditions.
