A retooling activity for focal persons, data collectors, and local government units (LGU) partners of the Philippine Rice Information System (PRiSM) project was conducted on May 10 to 12, 2023, at the Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center in Butuan City.

Over twenty participants attended the retooling activity, which was composed of PRiSM data manager and regional facilitators, and partners from the Department of Agriculture-Caraga. The event was also graced by LGU partners from Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

The retooling activity refreshed PRiSM partners on PRiSM field protocols, data collection, and data products. PRiSM technical staff partners were also trained on basic map layouting using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS).
